The main piece arrives ready to use. You need to plug in the base, place the bear carefully at the levitation point, and follow the instruction card for first setup.

The bear floats above the base through electromagnetic levitation. It needs to stay plugged in while floating, and it should be placed at the correct balance point by hand.
Hold the bear above the center of the base and move it slowly until you feel the levitation point. Release it only when the floating force feels stable.
Yes. The bear can be removed from the levitation point. The base can also temporarily hold small lightweight objects when the bear is not floating.
